17. Eliminates bad smells

Many modern kitchen sinks come with a drain strainer. This prevents kitchen waste from entering the drainage pipes. This is an excellent feature. These drain strainers tend to develop a bad odor over time as they are in constant contact with waste and water. These drain strainers can also be cleaned using hot water, baking soda and vinegar. Immerse your drain strainer into the mixture, and allow it to sit for between 10-20 minutes. When you rinse it and remove it from the drain strainer, all of the bad smell will disappear.
